Cancer Detection and Prevention is the official organ of the International Society for Preventive Oncology (ISPO), a nongovernmental organization in official relations with the World Health Organization. The journal reflects the Society's viewpoint that human cancer is a preventable disease and that utilization of accumulating knowledge may eradicate morbidity and mortality of patients with neoplastic diseases.
