General policy
- Registration is not transferable.
- If your abstract is declined and you decide
to cancel for that reason, full refund of
the fee will be made.
- No refunds will be made to delegates cancelling after May
19th, 2003, and cancellation received prior to
that date will permit a 30% refund of the
fee by September 19th, 2003.
Cancellations for Montreal 2003 registrants
- Montreal registrants must cancel by August 15th,
2003 to recieve a refund.
- Refundable fees:
The registration fees (including optional social programs)
are refunded in full. The abstract submission fee is not a
registration fee. The submission fee is a charge to cover
secure website administration of intellectual property. The
service is exempt from the registration policy as stated in
the brochure and at the website.
- Refunds paid in national currency:
The dollar value originally charged may be higher/lower than
the dollar value at the date of cancellation. The payments
and refunds are transacted in US funds (the standard
currency for international meetings). The credit card
(banking) agency administers this accounting directly. Thus,
the amounts of your claims may not be refunded "exactly."
- Confirmations:
A statement of confirmation will be emailed. The
commercial transaction should be reflected in your online
account with the agency, and in their next monthly report.
Thus, at July 30, the charge reversal should "appear" on the
August/September printout.
- Bank transfers will not be issued; bank checks are issued in
US dollars.
