So as to check the efficacy of the three step cancer prevention program , we selected the patients with chronic hepatitis B(45) and C(248) virus infection and liver cirrhosis(77). These patients are considered to be high risk of developing hepatoma. First step: Risk assessment by tumor marker combination assay for all candidates. The high risk patients among them, were adviced to recieve high dose of vitamin C(20-30g) dripping and to change eating style and lifestyle. As the second step: Holistic treatment(herbal medicine, detoxification therapy and fastening) was applied to those who are not improved. Third step: Apoptosis inducing treatment was applied to those who are not improved after second step. By the application of three step cancer prevention program, hepatoma was prevented in 99% of the candidates over the past ten years. This program was useful among high risk groups who have chronic hehatitis virus infection and cirrhosis.
